Te Kemu Kete is a fun learning game for children ages 4-7 that teaches four food groups, (vegetables, fruit, meat and seafood) and increases childrens range of te reo Maori vocabulary and awareness of the Maori language. Te Kemu Kete assists children to develop their memory skills, language skills, and social skills can be a useful game to explore the Maori in a fun way. Te Kemu Kete is also suitable for adults that are learning te reo Maori. The general aim of the game is to be the first player to fill up the Kete with the correct kai (food) pieces. Te Kemu Kete comprises four empty kete, 4 kete with kai– Hua Rakau, Hua Whenua, Kai Moana and Miti and 40 kai pieces. A vocabulary guide is included as well as online learning support suggestions.  (For 2-4 players)
